I attend SUNY New Paltz as a Theatre Performance major and am also in the Honors program.

i love the theatre, i love singing, music, and dance, but you probably already knew that. 

acting allows me to shed my identity and live the life of someone else. someone whose energy fills my body as i tell their story. i don’t have to be the shy, quiet nerd i usually am, who has been through so much. instead, i start anew as a different person who may not be afraid to speak up.

onstage, i become a voice for those who cannot speak, eyes for those who cannot see, and a teller of the truth.

through acting, i can change people’s perceptions.

through acting, i will change the world.

• my favourite movie is The Princess Bride
• a very close second is probably Tangled
• MY LOVE FOR STAR WARS AND THE EU KNOW NO BOUNDS
• I’m a proud Ravenclaw (though I’m probably really a Gryffindor lol)
• I do LARP. BEWARE, I CAN USE A SWORD.
• Also, on an equally-nerdy note, I can fight in Style VII of lightsaber combat.
• if you haven’t noticed, I tend to use British spelling because it’s prettier~
• I love love love love love love reading. My favourite book is Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie.
• Epic poems are amazing. I could read The Aeneid, Orlando Furioso, and Paradise Lost all day.
• My favourite play is The Laramie Project, and my favourite musical is Into the Woods. I also really love Les Miserables, The Crucible, Much Ado About Nothing, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
• I love Irish music and classical music. And most of my iPod is made up of those two genres and showtunes.

• My favourite food is steak, cooked rare. >D
• I’m terrified of thunder and lightning, needles, failure, and crowds, including closed spaces and small places with too many people inside.
